Alongside my work as a musician, educator and leader, I write about music, education and leadership, exploring the ideas that emerge from teaching, performing and working with musicians of all ages and stages.

I write regularly for The Strad, where I contribute reviews and educational features, and have also written for ESTA and Music Teacher.  Alongside commissioned work, I use this website to publish a collection of essays that explore music, education and leadership in greater depth.
